Decorate a party in an amazing way using huge numbers with balloons. We use the mosaic technique, which is easy to make because you only need hard cardboard and balloons to create a beautiful decoration. Notice the simplicity of this project!
materials:
A large sheet of hardboard for the base
Soft Cardboard or Side Cardboard (optional: you can use corrugated cardboard on a very flexible roll)
Hot Bonding Silicone
Balloons of different sizes and in your favorite colors
White spray paint (optional)
Adhesive tape or cold silicone.
procedure:
1.- Use the hardboard to draw a large number and cut it out.
2.- Cut the pieces corresponding to the sides using cardboard or flexible cardboard. It's best to cut it into pieces, so cut different pieces about 8 inches wide (that's how deep the number will be) and glue them around the outline of the number you already have. If you use corrugated cardboard in a roll, you can do it in one piece by simply unrolling and gluing around the base.
3.- Fill balloons of different sizes.
4.- Start by filling in the number with the big balloons. You can glue them directly to the base using a piece of tape or you can also drill holes all over the surface and insert the neck of the balloon to secure with a piece of tape at the back.
5.- Fill in the gaps you have using smaller balloons.
Useful Tips:
* You can choose to use eva foam or rubber on the walls or sides of the number
* To stick the balloons, you can use duct tape or cold liquid silicone tape.
